Dear Mr. Firmston:
I have read an article about the Vancouver General Hospital. The hospital hasn’t managed its facilities like bathroom, kitchen, etc. cleanly so this unsanitary environment can cause serious complication for patients who have been exposed to infection. The patients have complained for a long time. Now their complaints were issued on the media.
I always believe that prevention is better than a cure. Therefore I would like to attract the government’s attention to this issue. This is not only a problem of one hospital but also a social issue. It would not be changed promptly, but the government should enact a strong law on cleanliness from now on.

Dear Mr Jacobson,
I have read your article that you wrote in yesterday’s Globe and Mail. I would like to thank you for giving me an opportunity to read this interesting article. It was also a good opportunity to think about our world in which we lived with animals together. Moreover your article was written impartially and clearly so that I could easily understand.
While I was reading your article, I had some questions. You wrote about two sides; the government of South Africa and animal-rights activists. The activists mentioned the alternative way to prevent the government from culling of elephants, but it has also disadvantages such as huge expense of moving elephants and elephant’s suffer from contraception. Do they have any other ways to solve this problem? If they do, where can I find out their opinion? And what happened after the argument with the government and activists?
